Valencia Basket defends the first spot of the Endesa League visiting the RETAbet Bilbao Basket’s court (Wednesday 12, 20: 00h, Bilbao Arena, Movistar Deportes 1) in a week 27 game which was postponed by the Taronja participation in the EuroCup Finals. Coach Pedro Martinez will have his squad of twelve professional players available to face this game, with the absence already known of the Ukrainian center Slava Kravtsov (out for the rest of the season with an injury in the left foot (fifth toe) covered by the American Mike Tobey. The Taronja squad will try to extend their good dynamics in Miribilla (five victories in its last six visits) to look for a triumph that would suppose the mathematical classification for the Endesa League Playoffs Basket by eleventh season in a row. The Taronja team currently occupy the first position of the championship with a balance of 19 wins and 6 losses.

Valencia Basket coach Pedro Martínez said that he expects "a very tough game tomorrow. RETAbet Bilbao is fighting for the Playoffs and in their court is where they are going to want to feel more aggressive, harder, stronger and we have to prepare for that. It is a team that has very experienced players, players who have been in the League for many years and are great players and very solid like Mumbrú, Hervelle or Tabu. And they also have lesser known players who are having a good season. We need to be at a good level to compete and win against them"
